Tammy R. Dugas, Ph.D.
Dr. Dugas is currently a Professor of Comparative Biomedical Sciences at the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in Baton Rouge, LA. At LSU, she is actively engaged in research aimed at the discovery of novel therapies for vascular diseases, including atherosclerosis and restenosis. She has >15 years of research experience in cardiovascular pharmacology and toxicology, 8 years of that spent working to develop novel therapeutic coatings for endovascular medical devices.
John D. Foley, Ph.D.
Dr. Foley is a Cell and Molecular Biologist who has worked in both academia and the medical device industry. He was integral in the early stages of the medical device coating start-up Nanocopoeia, Inc., serving as Director of Biomaterials Research. While at Nanocopoeia, he was instrumental in founding and implementing operations for NanoInterventions, LLC; a company whose mission was to accelerate translational research into new endovascular medical devices.
